Many phlebology services are considered to be cosmetic and therefore are not covered by private insurance or Medicare. If a vein problem is severe enough, many insurance companies will cover all or part of the expense of diagnosing and treating these problems.  Dr. Crowther is now a provider for many insurance companies, including Tricare, Blue Cross, Humana, Aetna, and others. If it is determined that you have a condition that may be covered by your medical insurance, preauthorization of covered services can be handled before treatment. Remember that there is no charge for an initial consult with Dr. Crowther. You may also call for information anytime.
